      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Assist in monitoring the Infection Control and Prevention program at the employer
      - Collect and analyze infection control surveillance data
      - Collaborate with medical and nursing leadership to develop and disseminate infection control policies and procedures
      - Review laboratory reports for evidence of hospital-acquired infections and microbial trends
      - Present staff education programs on infection control and provide training for new employees

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington or have equivalent certification (MT, MLT ASCP)
      - Certification in Infection Control within 3 years of employment
      - Completion of a course in hospital epidemiology
      - Knowledge of principles of epidemiology, infection prevention and control, sterilization, disinfection, and sanitation
      - Previous hospital experience

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) or related degree
      - Experience in Infection Control programs
