What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices in alignment with enterprise security architectures
- Collaborate with the Security Operations Team to address security needs and implement solutions
- Monitor and assess security systems, databases, and networks for vulnerabilities
- Provide guidance on industry regulations such as HIPAA, HITECH, and PCI
- Support the development of security initiatives that protect patient and organizational data

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Sciences, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field; or an Associate's degree in a related field plus two years of relevant work experience
- Minimum of three years of experience in an IT environment working with systems, databases, and networks
- Demonstrated knowledge of industry regulations including HITECH, HIPAA, PCI, and SOX
- Must not be excluded from participation in federally funded programs, including Medicare and Medicaid
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Security Essentials (GSEC) certification
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with security technologies and tools
- Familiarity with risk management frameworks and methodologies
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
