What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform event correlation to detect, confirm, contain, remediate, and recover from security attacks
- Provide timely detection and alerting of potential intrusions and anomalous activities
- Analyze malicious activity to determine weaknesses and perform root cause analysis
- Document ongoing incidents and provide cybersecurity recommendations to leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve security incidents and maintain compliance

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity and incident response
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
- Experience with cloud security monitoring (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Ability to mentor junior analysts and improve security technologies and processes
- Knowledge of the Security Operation Center (SOC) and cybersecurity principles

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Initiatives taken to drive improvements in security technologies and processes
- Familiarity with the Information Security Common Body of Knowledge and best practices
- Recent certifications such as GCIH, GCFA, CEH, Network+, Security+, or equivalent industry standard certifications
