      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide tier 1 phone support for technology needs of State of Maine users
      - Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware and software issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
      - Conduct training sessions to enhance agency personnel skills in application operations
      - Maintain and contribute to a knowledge base for user support and troubleshooting
      - Perform system administration functions to maximize system utilization and efficiency

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High school diploma or general equivalency AND demonstrated experience in end-user IT support
      - Strong customer service skills with a background in technology
      - Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as required
      - Effective communication skills and the ability to document calls clearly
      - Willingness to undergo background checks as a condition of employment

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with HDI certification or similar credentials
      - Previous experience in a technical service desk environment
      - Familiarity with State of Maine systems and applications
      - Demonstrated ability to use emotional intelligence in customer interactions
      - Knowledge of customer relationship best practices
