What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support and maintain a diverse range of technologies within the DMV's Infrastructure Branch
- Collaborate with various teams across Infrastructure, Application Development, and Business Units
- Play a vital role in modernizing DMV systems to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and security
- Participate in background investigations and ensure compliance with security protocols
- Occasionally report to the designated office location in Sacramento

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be a resident of California and able to telework within the state
- Background investigation clearance required prior to hire
- Minimum qualifications as specified in the Class Specification for Information Technology Specialist I
- Ability to manage and administer Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environments
- Proficiency in documentation and technical support related to IT systems

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Azure Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID Administration
- Familiarity with Exchange/Email Administration and PowerShell scripting
- Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and IPAM Administration
- Understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS)
- Strong skills in SSO configuration (SAML/OAuth/OIDC)
