What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Underwrite individual risks and manage a portfolio by assessing risk acceptability and pricing

- Communicate effectively with agents and partners regarding underwriting decisions and product delivery
- Collaborate with internal business units to drive results and meet business unit goals
- Market products through in-person and virtual visits, securing beneficial partnerships

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum educational requirement: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Ideally, 7-10 years of experience in Inland Marine underwriting
- Advanced knowledge of underwriting and insurance industry theories and practices
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external partners

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Professional designations in underwriting or insurance preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and similar business-related software
- Proven ability to work independently and exercise independent judgment
- Demonstrated collaboration and leadership skills in a professional setting
- High-level technical expertise in Inland Marine related products
