      Department: Sales and Marketing

      Location: Remote: California, Colorado, Arizona, Oregon, Hawaii, Florida or Oklahoma

      Location Status: Work will be primarily performed remotely from home office. Employee will be required to utilize personal phone and internet services to perform telecommuting with reimbursement per Race's current flex agreement. Occasional travel to and work from other Race offices or off-site locations may be required.

      Summary:

      As an Inside Sales Representative at Race Communications, you will be instrumental in expanding our customer base and driving revenue growth. Your primary responsibility is to proactively engage potential customers via phone, web, email, and selling tools serving as the voice of Race Communications. You will create meaningful connections with individuals, effectively conveying the exceptional value of our products and services to secure their business. You must possess excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as strong sales acumen to explain products and services, address questions and complaints, and provide effective solutions. Additionally, you will support Race Communications' mission to bridge the digital divide between rural and urban areas by promoting and delivering reliable, high-quality internet services.

      Qualifications and Experience:
      • Eligibility for US Employment without sponsorship
      • Minimum age
      • High school diploma, GED or equivalent required
      • Minimum of one year of experience in sales, outside sales, or a related field, with equivalent work experience in customer-facing roles required
      • Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce and HubSpot) to manage customer data, track interactions, and analyze customer behavior
      • Increased customer through the implementation of targeted relationship management strategies, resulting in improved client satisfaction and loyalty
      • Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales quota given by Vice President of Sales and Marketing, achieving monthly target phone sales
      • The ability to effectively communicate in English, including speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension, as necessary for effective job performance and workplace communication
      • Proficiency in Spanish Language is desirable


      Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

      Sales Prospecting and Lead Generation:
      • Sources new sales opportunities through inbound leads, follow-ups, outbound call campaigns, emails, messaging applications, and in-person events
      • Research accounts, identifies potential sales opportunities, and generates interest


      Sales Performance and Goal Achievement:
      • Meets or exceeds monthly sales goals


      Customer Needs Assessment and Relationship Building:
      • Identifies, assesses, and understands customer needs and requirements to achieve customer satisfaction
      • Builds sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
      • Gains and retains extensive product knowledge as well as a detailed comprehension of customer requirements


      Quotation Management and Account Development:
      • Manages creation and presentation of quotations for opportunities as they are identified
      • Generates new business and promotes growth of existing accounts


      Information Handling and CRM Utilization:
      • Provides accurate, valid, and complete information when using our CRM and other provided software
      • Keeps detailed records of customer interactions, processes customer accounts, and files documents


      Customer Support and Complaint Resolution:
      • Handles inbound calls, provides callers with product and service information
      • Handles customer complaints, provides appropriate solutions and alternatives within time limits; coordinates communication and action with appropriate departments and team members; follows up with customers to ensure resolution


      Sales Team Compliance and Participation:
      • Follows sales team procedures and guidelines, along with policies outlined in the Race Communications Employee Handbook
      • Participates in outbound call campaigns and attends outside sales events (travel required)

      Incoming employees will participate in our Speedway to Success onboarding and orientation program and may be required to travel to an onboarding location other than their designated worksite for the first day. Remote employees may be required to attend in-person orientation and collect their assigned equipment on their first day. Further information will be provided closer to the hire date.
