      About this role:

      Wells Fargo is seeking a Institutional Rate Sales Analyst to join our

      Corporate & Investment Banking team. The successful candidate will join Global Institutional Rates and FX sales providing Interest Rate Product coverage to clients in partnership with a senior marketer.

      In this role, you will:

      • Possess knowledge of a variety of instruments that will include but is not limited to, US Treasury Bonds, TIPS, Interest Rate Swaps, Treasury Bond Futures, Repurchase Agreements, Structured Funding Derivatives, Cross currency swaps, and Interest Rate Options

      • Expand their knowledge to Foreign Exchange products in the future

      • Collaborate with senior salespeople, Rates and FX trading, and Strategy, as well as coverage partners such as FIG banking and Markets Senior Relationship managers, to develop client specific plans to increase market share and flow, disseminate the firm’s intellectual content in an accurate and timely fashion, and assist in building connectivity between Macro trading / leadership team and key client partners

      • Execute and book trades, enhance modeling capabilities, onboard clients, and streamline operational processes

      • Work with internal partners including compliance, legal, and documentation to ensure our approach adapts to the ever changing market structure and regulatory landscape

      • Must be able to work East Coast hours (EST)

      Required Qualifications:

      • 6+ months of Securities Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

      Desired Qualifications:

      • Outstanding knowledge of interest rate products and applications

      • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

      • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

      • Strong quantitative, research and analytical skills

      • Ability to thrive in a fast paced team oriented environment

      • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization

      • Desire and ability to build strong relationships with internal and external partners as part of a team

      • A BS/BA degree or higher in business administration, economics, finance, or related field


      Job Expectations:

      • Up to 25% travel

      • Must be able to work East Coast (EST) hours

      • Ability to work overtime hours as needed including client meetings, dinners, and after-hours networking

      • Registration for FINRA Series 63 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.

      • Registration for FINRA Series 7 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.

      • Registration for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted

      Pay Range

      $100,800.00 - $179,200.00 Annual
