- Implement & maintain a knowledge management approach for multiple different document workstreams at varying levels (e.g. plant, regionally, nationally)
- Define and document learning objectives.
- Conduct research and collaborate with SMEs.
- Create instructional material: courses, curriculum, student guides or training manuals.
- Design content to optimize learning.
- Generate the layout of the learning supports.
- Create visual, audio, and interactive learning tools.
- Create written and practical assessments.
- Define document types, owners, file structure, and responsibilities.
- Ensure all team members have access to necessary documentation.
- Ensure version control and sign-off of documents & drawings, especially with a focus on Safety & Engineering & Plant
- Manage document/material flow across UKI digital within Supply Chain
- Prepare regular reporting & reviews of documentation status.
- Support & assist in creation of documentations.
- Ensure information captured & updated, check for accuracy, review and edit files.
- Proficiency with training development tools
- Technical qualifications (IT, Systems, Engineering design)
- Project management experience
- Proven working experience in instructional design and with instructional technology in Higher Education.
- Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models.
- Create, write and/or curate course content.
- Creating engaging learning activities and compelling course content.
- Previous experience in reviewing technical documentation.
- Previous experience in as a Document Controller or in a similar role.
- Familiar with project & change management.
- Experience in various document management systems such as SharePoint.
- Program & Project level documentation experience.
- Previous experience with technical writing.
- Experience within CHEP/Brambles
- Experience in an engineering design office
- Stakeholder management skills.
- Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.
- Excellent written/verbal and ability to communicate with to both technical and non-technical people.
- Excellent organizational skills, specifically regarding data.
- Hands-on experience with MS Suite (Office & Excel).
- Familiar with & Knowledge of various Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS).

We are seeking a skilled Instructional Designer to create engaging learning and practice experiences for our employees. The primary objective is to facilitate the acquisition of knowledge, skills, and competencies in an effective and captivating manner.
The Instructional Designer is responsible for creating training materials and education courses for plant professionals. Their duties include consulting with SMEs to determine the efficacy of their course designs, transferring courses into online formats and creating course manuals for instructors/trainers to use for future/ongoing training.
The Instructional Designer is responsible for the timely, accurate and efficient creation and management of documents. They control the numbering, sorting, filing, storing and retrieval of both electronic and hard copy documents produced by technical teams, projects, or departments.
The primary purpose of this role is to support the document and knowledge capture & control across the NA Supply Chain.
