What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Teach a minimum of three lecture/lab courses each semester, including general biology
- Provide timely feedback on assignments and maintain office hours for student support
- Engage in curriculum development, academic assessment, and re-accreditation activities
- Participate in college-wide meetings, committees, and community events
- Foster an inclusive learning environment that encourages critical thinking and problem-solving

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master's degree in biology or a related discipline with 18 hours of graduate credit in the teaching discipline
- College-level teaching experience in biology
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity within the educational environment
- Willingness to learn and incorporate relevant technological skills for effective teaching

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience teaching anatomy and physiology courses
- Community college teaching experience
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment
- Familiarity with online teaching environments and learning management systems such as Canvas
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
