What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Accurately prepare and submit insurance claims within required time frames
- Follow up on insurance claims daily and maintain productivity standards
- Review and process incoming mail and monitor unpaid accounts
- Communicate and collaborate with payers for account resolution
- Participate in department process improvement activities and perform other assigned duties

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of one year of healthcare billing or insurance experience preferred
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft products
- Must possess or be able to obtain necessary computer skills within 90 days
- Proficient in the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking
- Must be HIPAA compliant

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in patient accounting areas, including customer service and cash posting
- Familiarity with billing compliance and regulatory guidelines
