What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Create invoices or entries for premiums, fees, and/or commissions within corporate systems using supporting documentation
- Research invoicing or commission discrepancies, determine necessary action, and ensure successful resolution
- Serve as a subject matter expert for questions related to billing
- Build and maintain relationships across business units, insurance carriers, and outsourcing partners
- Proactively identify and recommend efficiencies and cost savings

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Prior experience in a billing capacity, preferably in insurance
- High school diploma or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience
- Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to act with responsiveness, urgency, and professionalism while prioritizing responsibilities
- Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- One year of experience in the insurance industry
- Property and Casualty Insurance License
- Understanding of insurance basics
- Familiarity with general accounting principles
- Knowledge of employer systems
