What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Ensure timely follow-up of aged outstanding claims for assigned payer groups
- Analyze denials and underpayments to ensure payer contract compliance, generating appeals as needed
- Document billing progress in the required format using Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Respond to billing inquiries and non-payment EOBs within three business days
- Facilitate communication with payer representatives for issue resolution

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical practice billing and collections
- 2+ years of experience in medical billing
- 2+ years of current experience in the medical field
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred
- Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in business, health management, or a related field
- Experience with practice management software and Microsoft Office
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to delegate effectively
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accurate note-taking
