What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design and implement new processes and improvements to increase efficiency in the IP management process
- Maintain and enhance workflows across BD's IP management systems to ensure data accuracy
- Administer IP management systems, providing user access and technical support to stakeholders
- Analyze and process IP-related communications, developing protocols to address recurring issues
- Assist with enforcing compliance with company policies and procedures among outside counsel

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate, or 3 years of equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of patent and trademark lifecycle processes, including prosecution procedures and deadlines
- Experience in developing legal management and docketing processes, preferably with IP matters
- Proficiency in Microsoft programs and other legal management software
- Highly organized with strong data entry and proofreading skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience using legal billing systems and patent websites (US Patent PAIR System, WIPO, EPO, etc.)
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Flexibility to work overtime and travel as needed
