Intermediate GIS Specialist Job Type: Full-time
Work Location: Remote
The Intermediate GIS Specialist position is focused on advanced geospatial data management and spatial analysis. Key responsibilities include but not limited to conducting complex spatial analyses, developing and maintaining geodatabases, and creating custom maps, reports, and visualizations for various stakeholders and assisting in automating geospatial processes using scripting languages like Python.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct advanced spatial analysis and geospatial data management.
- Develop and maintain geodatabases for multiple projects.
- Create custom maps, reports, and visualizations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Implement GIS workflows and support project-specific spatial analysis.
- Assist with the automation of geospatial processes using scripting (e.g., Python).
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of professional experience in GIS.
- Proficiency with GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS, FME).
- Experience with spatial data, GPS data, and web mapping.
- Knowledge of geospatial data formats and data transformation workflows.
- Experience working with cloud environments (AWS or others) for data storage and processing.

Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
