Through the power of storytelling, the Harlem Globetrotters International (HGI) and Herschend Entertainment Studios (HES) content team produces premium lead with love content, with families at the forefront. Developing and producing global premium franchise content in areas of television, film, licensing and other media. Its current media properties include Chuggington, Splash and Bubbles (in partnership with The Jim Henson Company) and the Harlem Globetrotters, with more to come.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a creative, organized and innovative individual to bring their unique perspective, skills and fresh eyes to our creative content team. The Content team intern will work closely with the content department to support the Harlem Globetrotter live show, current and developing productions and social media. Responsibilities are as followed:

Media Management and Post Production:

• Screen and log archival footage
• Develop program logs and notes for series in production and/or development
• Basic to Intermediate editing skills applicable to Premier Pro (preferred but not required)

Research:

• Research and document competitive content to the content team’s development and production slate
• Screen social media feeds for specific content and trends applicable to content team’s goals and objectives
• Create presentations of research and development findings or ideas (when applicable)
• Maintain pitch log

Development:

• Participate in creative brainstorming
• Attend development and production meetings

Other:

• Attend and assist in production shoots (if shoot is in intern’s city of residence)
• Other Duties as assigned
