      SUMMARY

      The purpose of this role is to allow a college student to experience various roles and accountabilities in a corporate organization through an internship. Internships may vary in duration depending on the needs of the student and availability of meaningful opportunities with Haemonetics. The intern will be assigned to a meaningful project within the company to acquire a variety of experiences, try different skills, and learn what a future career might offer while also contributing by completing projects or assignments.

      PROJECT DESCRIPTION

      As part of the Facilities team, you will support Facilities Management in the day to day operations of our Boston office and assist in the development of a site-specific Facilities Operations Manual. You will play a key role in updating our facility drawings through Visio. You will help manage safety preventative maintenance protocols and update our lab chemical inventories. In addition, you will interact with all Facilities globally to collect key information to analyze our Scope 1 and 2 Greenhouse gas emissions worldwide as well as reduction opportunities.

      Experience with Tableau and visual analytics is a plus.

      PROJECT DELIVERABLES

      • Develop and implement Facilities Operations Manual for Boston Summer Street Office

      • Updated Boston site drawings reflecting accurate use of space

      • Collect utilities and energy usage globally for Greenhouse gas emissions analysis

      • Support critical safety PMs around chemical inventory, eyewash and shower inspections, AEDs, and first aid inspections.
