      ABOUT THE TEAM

      The Strategic Communications and Global Government Affairs team leads and manages internal and external communications and the government relations approach for PSP Investments, working closely with key internal and external stakeholders. Our main objectives are to share who we are through our values, vision, activities, successes and to keep our employees informed, connected, inspired, educated and entertained.

      ABOUT YOUR ROLE

      As an Intern, Government Affairs, you will:

      • Support monitoring of policy developments, legislative changes, and regulatory issues affecting the investment industry

      • Support the development of briefing notes, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders

      • Conduct research and analysis on public policy topics relevant to PSP’s mission and operations

      • Support the coordination of meetings and events with government officials and industry representatives

      • Assist with the execution of government relations strategies

      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on key messaging and initiatives

      WHAT YOU’LL NEED

      • Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or post-graduate diploma or certificate, in Political Science, Public Policy, Law, Communications, or a related field

      • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills

      • Ability to synthesize complex information and communicate it clearly

      • Ability to navigate a fast-paced environment with autonomy

      • Ability to manage simultaneous projects in an organized and timely manner

      • Interest in public policy, government affairs, and finance.

      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

      • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

      • Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset.

      • Must return to studies after the internship or the internship must be part of your curriculum
