The Position
Your Team
We are seeking an intern either pursuing, or recently graduated from a MSc/PhD degree with expertise in advanced data analytics and machine learning to help us explore its potential applications in therapeutic antibody design. You will join the “birthplace” of therapeutic proteins in Roche’s discovery unit and work on an innovative project applying advanced analytics and machine learning approaches to protein engineering.
Your Tasks
The key objectives of this project are three-fold: 1) To study the immune repertoire dynamics after immunization; 2) To apply machine learning to derive sequence characteristics within the repertoire; and 3) To add to the in-house capability in using advanced statistical and machine learning models for harnessing future sequencing datasets.
The anticipated impact of the project is an accelerated process for antibody discovery and optimization. You are expected to disseminate the findings to our cross-functional project teams.
