      Job title: Smooth Way Home VINES Intern

      Southwest Human Development offers undergraduate and graduate students from different academic tracks and diverse backgrounds the opportunity to explore all aspects of the nonprofit sector. This specific opportunity is for the Occupational Therapy Doctoral Capstone Program. A student will develop their professional skills by gaining field experience and working alongside experts who provide services to the NICU community.

      In this role you will:

      • Assist with data collection, aggregation, and analysis.
      • Provide follow-up for completed VINES visits.
      • Work with neonatology provider team and Smooth Way Home team on resources and referrals for VINES patients.
      • Outreach to community physicians and providers on VINES.

      What it takes:

      • Must be currently enrolled in college or university, in final year of undergraduate program.
      • Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card - OR - must qualify for a valid Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
