- Provide professional support to assigned district department and hiring u00A0 manager
- Set professional development goals, receive feedback on progress, and make necessary changes to reach maximum career u00A0 potential
- Manage multiple responsibilities with changing u00A0 deliverables
- Provide excellent customer service and partnership with all u00A0 internal and external u00A0 stakeholders
- Respond to Help Desk support tickets u00A0 in a timely manner and with strong customer satisfaction u00A0 ratings
- Enter data to u00A0 support u00A0 data u00A0 accuracy and u00A0 processing across various u00A0 systems and u00A0 platforms
- Analyze data and create reports to drive u00A0 decision-making
- Effectively and efficiently u00A0 complete u00A0 projects u00A0 or support execution of projects across their lifecycle u00A0
- Set up and track student and staff u00A0 technology
- Provide u00A0 administrative, u00A0 logistical, u00A0 operational, u00A0 and u00A0 event u00A0 support
- Other duties as u00A0 assigned
- Must u00A0 be currently enrolled in college (Spring 2025) and completed a minimum of 1 academic semester with a cumulative GPA or 2.5 or u00A0 higher
- Preference given to graduates of IDEA Public Schools (not a requirement to be an IDEA alumni)
- Reliable, organized, punctual, u00A0 meet deadlines, u00A0 and demonstrate u00A0 initiative
- Follow through on tasks from beginning to u00A0 completion
- Open to observation and feedback
- Highly u00A0 proficient with the use of u202F computer, u00A0 web u00A0 and mobile technology
- Able to work independently in a virtual u00A0 environment
- Strong customer service, business partnership, customer service mindset, can-do attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills u00A0 (clear, u00A0 personable, and u00A0 enthusiastic)
- Ability to work extended workdays to support business u00A0 needs
- Commitment: 9-week program
- Location: Remote but located in a Texas region (some in-person support may be needed u00A0 for u00A0 a few u00A0 of the available u00A0 roles) . Preference is given to applicants in the Rio Grande Valley, San Antonio, Tarrant County (Fort Worth), Austin, and El Paso.
- Compensation: $11.00 u00A0 per hour u00A0
- Hours: u00A0 Monday u2013 Friday, u00A0 8:00 u00A0 a.m. u2013 u00A0 5:00 u00A0 p.m.
Role Mission: u00A0 The Information Systems & Technology team is responsible for data security, information systems (student, staff, and business data), information technology, instructional technology (for students and staff), u00A0 research and analysis, u00A0 software development, project management, technology operations. u00A0 Recently, u00A0 the u00A0 team has u00A0 created proprietary software, partnered with instructional leaders to provide views of student performance to drive decision-making, u00A0 manage employee and student data across multiple platforms and applications. Their focus on customer service and industry standards of project management leads the way in the organization.

Summer Interns are assigned to departments aligned to their intended career trajectory and are provided with the opportunity to manage and execute alongside district leaders. Through guided project management and constructive feedback alumni build transferrable skills and mindsets for success in their collegiate journey and future professional endeavors.
