Previous experience in Internal or External audit, or equivalent experience in a similar risk and control role, is preferred
Experience of working in an insurance or relevant financial services function, audit firm or UK regulator would also be beneficial, but is not critical
Excellent Stakeholder Management skills with the ability to effectively connect with key business partners across the business
Must have excellent communication skills - both written and oral as writing up and presenting internal audit reports
Organisation and project management experience would be beneficial
Salary of Circa £60,000 (depending on location, skills, experience and qualifications).
Bonus opportunity 8w% of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.

Internal Audit Manager – Salary of Circa £60,000
Location – Bristol, Norwich
Are you an inquisitive, resilient and pro-active individual with a passion for learning, good organisation and strong communication skills? Do you want to work in a successful team with a track record of influencing positive risk management outcomes across Aviva? Then look no further!We are currently seeking Internal Audit Managers to join our UK General Insurance Internal Audit Team in either our Bristol or Norwich offices.
In Internal Audit we focus on what matters, to make things better for Aviva. We continuously refine our knowledge and understanding of the risks that matter; those which affect our business and customers. We couple this knowledge and judgement with strong collaborative relationships to inform our audit assignments, enabling us to influence management and motivate change.
A bit about us and the job:
In this role you will be auditing a range of activities across the GI business, testing, gathering information, analysing then reporting to stakeholders across the wider business.
You will also be able to contribute to the wider success of the Internal Audit function through our transformation and continuous improvement projects. This role offers a breadth of business experience and will give the opportunity to look at the business as a whole.
