As a senior or lead internal auditor on the Governance and Risk team, you'll play a key role in supporting enterprise-wide corporate governance and risk oversight efforts as well as project management within the broader Audit & Advisory (A&A) Group. You’ll have the ability to bring a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluating and improving the effectiveness of governance, risk management and control processes to protect organizational value. Governance and Risk activities will require you to understand the relationship between the business objectives, the significant risks that could impede achieving those objectives and the controls that mitigate the risk to an acceptable level. You'll have ownership of high-visibility work across various governance and risk management initiatives. Location: St. Petersburg, Florida; Indianapolis, Indiana; or Cleveland, Ohio considered with work from home flexibility possible Must-have qualifications - Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting/Finance, Business Management, Economics, Technology-based (Computer Science) or Mathematics - Required Certifications Financial Auditors: CPA or CIA. For other Audit Jobs: CIA or equivalent (i.e., Risk Management Certification, Green Belt and/or CPA, CISA) - Four year of relevant audit, operational, financial or IT experience Preferred Skills - Direct governance and risk, public accounting audit, and/or mergers and acquisition experience - Strong communication skills with a focus on collaboration and relationship building; able to drive change and influence business constituents; communicates information timely to ensure effective operations - Demonstrated project management experience - inclusive of excellent prioritization, planning and organization; understanding critical project priorities and timelines of project plans; strong follow up to keep project responsibilities on track - Demonstrates critical thinking and problem-solving ability to drive process control improvements/effectiveness to our business processes that enhance performance - Exposure to financial services and/or the property and casualty insurance industry Compensation - $68,100 - $109,900/year depending on position level and experience - Gainshare bonus up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance Benefits - 401(k) with dollar-for-dollar company match up to 6% - Medical, dental & vision, including free preventative care - Wellness & mental health programs - Health care flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, & life insurance - Paid time off - Paid & unpaid sick leave where applicable, as well as short & long-term disability - Parental & family leave; military leave & pay - Diverse, inclusive & welcoming culture with Employee Resource Groups - Career development & tuition assistance - Onsite gym & healthcare at large locations Energage recognizes Progressive as a 2023 Top Workplace for: Innovation, Purposes & Values, Work-Life Flexibility, Compensation & Benefits, and Leadership.
