- Support with the execution of the internal communications strategy for BGUK Functions
- Plan, edit and write content for internal communications channels.
- Support with the day-to-day management of internal communications channels such as Workvivo.
- Ensure successful delivery of internal events including leadership meetings, all employee events and the executive team visibility plan.
- Work closely with the Functions People team to ensure the successful rhythm of internal communications across BGUK on key initiatives and campaigns.
- Help transform our internal communications to simplify our channels and shift the focus to two-way engagement.
- Empower and support leaders and people managers to be effective communicators and help their teams do their best work.
- Inspire colleagues to deliver on our ambition to be the world’s most customer-centric healthcare company.
- Work with stakeholders across the People Team to build comms plans, produce content and measure impact.
- Work closely with other colleagues with communications responsibilities to ensure a consistent colleague experience.
- Drive, confidence, energy and enthusiasm
- Demonstrable excellence in internal communications particularly with hybrid-working / multi location audiences.
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills as well as the journalistic ability to source stories from employees.
- Creative ability to design and deliver internal communications content in a simple and engaging way.
- Experience of using a range of multi-media communications tools and packages.
- Experience in event design and delivery.
- A meticulous planner with exceptional attention to detail and an eye for accuracy.
- Customer-centric mindset and approach.
- Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work across different functions and with colleagues at all levels of the organisation.
- Resilient and calm. Able to manage an unpredictable workload to meet changing requirements and switch confidently and knowledgeably between priorities.
- A commercial mindset, ensuring that agenda is positioned within the broader business and wider industry/economic context.
