Internship Overview

Therapy Tree is currently accepting a limited number of SLPA and SLP internship applicants. The internship is unpaid and runs for 4 or 5 weeks with approximately 40 hours per week and requires an in-clinic commitment. During this period of time, you will have access to valuable training, a wide variety of resources, including tools and knowledgeable therapists. You will gain experience in numerous treatment approaches and methods to provide client centered, evidence based, quality care to our patients. This opportunity provides a chance to build your skills and your caseload under the supervision of trained professionals with the support you need to be successful in the field.

Depending on performance and availability, the internship experience we provide at Therapy Tree is designed to lead to employment opportunities within the company. We are looking for motivated, hardworking, fun, and talented individuals to join our full-time team at Therapy Tree!

Responsibilities and Duties

WEEKS 1: Observation, data collection, systems orientation, writing SOAP notes, Independent Study

WEEKS 2-4: Session planning and treatment starting at 25% of caseload, observation, data collection, SOAP notes, Independent Study and increasing to 100% throughout the weeks until completion of the 8 week internship.
