Serve as inventory database administrator ensuring accuracy of fields and parameters for current and incoming inventory. Ensure all users are properly trained on inventory databases.
Coordinate with Distribution team to ensure inventory is in proper bin location.
Ensure Lot # and expiration sensitive inventory is processed first in first out and bring awareness to proper channels when product is nearing expiration.
Conduct regularly scheduled and unscheduled cycle counts. Report findings and discrepancies to Management and investigate discrepancies.
Create ad hoc inquires to extract inventory information for relevant departments and personnel.
Communicate with supply chain, production planning, and distribution on product supply.
Determine potential shortages and proactively work to remedy problems.
Communicate when supply will be disrupted and anticipation of remedy.
Communicate with supply chain of slow moving products.
Report and adjust any inventory discrepancies found.
Run regular reports and review with management.
Actively participate in physical inventory; conduct physical inventories of raw materials, products, and supplies.
Analysis of transfer logs and obsolete inventory.
Participate in cost reduction strategy meetings.
Work with management to resolve any inventory discrepancies.
Investigate and resolve short shipment complaints.
Other duties as assigned by management.
1 - 3 years of related inventory control experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SAP

Responsible for overseeing the proper handling of inventory control for Sample Collection. This role is on sight at our Lexington, KY Mercer Rd location working Tuesday through Saturday
