Inventory Controller

Location: Glasgow, Eurocentral and Hybrid WFH.

Salary: £32.7k - £40.4k per annum (Dependent on skills & qualifications)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Procurement and Supply Chain function as an Inventory Controller during a period of team growth and development. Reporting to the Inventory Manager you will maintain Inventory Control and Optimisation primarily across our network of two Distribution Centres and ten Local Depots. You will help identify and implement Cycle Count processes maintaining Perpetual and Physical Inventory data integrity, and co-ordinate Pre and Post External Audit activities.

Enabling the Company to achieve its targets and our objective of keeping our customers safe and the gas flowing to 5.9 million homes and businesses in the South of England and across Scotland 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

What will you be doing day to day?

• Inventory Control.
• Inventory Optimisation.
• Depot Min-Max Replenishment Optimisation.
• Inter-site Inventory transfer approvals.
• Cycle Count process compliance.
• Perpetual and Physical Inventory data integrity.
• Pre and Post External Audit improvement activities.
• Non-Moving Inventory utilisation.
• Item Master maintenance.

What you’ll need

We’re looking for a motivated individual with an Inventory Management or Planning background who is comfortable working on their own or as part of a team. Someone who adopts a collaborative approach to building effective working relationships with key internal and third-party logistics stakeholders.
