What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Execute and support accounting processes related to the monthly and quarterly accounting close to ensure accuracy of invested assets data
- Prepare statements of cash flows for investments and certain disclosures for client 10Q/K and Financial Supplement
- Assist in process improvements and systems implementations in coordination with other departments
- Prepare annual investment-related NAIC/STAT reporting exhibits, schedules, and disclosures
- Provide support and coordination for various business units and corporate controllers regarding new investment transactions

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in Investment Accounting, Insurance, Financial Services, or Finance & Accounting
- Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting pronouncements and US insurance statutory disclosure requirements
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an agile environment with strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong analytical and critical problem-solving skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA preferred, advanced degree a plus
- Experience in controllership or financial reporting roles, particularly in the insurance sector
- Familiarity with financial instruments, including fixed income and equity securities
- Experience in accounting and reporting for investments
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teams from various backgrounds
