      About the Role

      As an Investment Assurance & Performance Lead in our Group Strategy and Transformation team, you’ll play a key role in helping to managing the performance of our investment slate. This role is responsible for enabling and preparing reports & business intelligence, to support business operations and requirements. Reporting is descriptive - financial information or information about business specific processes or requirements, using reporting tools (eg Qlikview, PowerBI).

      The Investment Assurance & Performance Lead will be primarily responsible for conducting CP5/6 assurance reviews/analyses on the annualised value of key Investment, BAU productivity initiatives and provide bi-annual summary reviews at an enterprise level using data from HFM, PPM and SuccessFactors This includes evolving the value management framework and leverage data driven insights to evaluate and optimise the impact of investments; being a key driver to support decision making for Senior Executives and ExCo whilst also providing an advisory function to our delivery teams on this topic.

      In addition, this role will provide support for Quarterly Investment Reviews as well as broader Insights reporting across Investment

      What will your day look like?

      As an Investment Assurance and Performance Lead, you will:

      • Develop and implement a comprehensive value assurance process to track and assess the realisation of business value across the project portfolio.
      • Embed a detailed operating rhythm to drive committed outcomes aligned with the broader productivity program
      • Evolve the Value Management framework and provide consultative advice to delivery and portfolio teams on identifying and monitoring value. Ensure alignment between project objectives, business cases and expected benefits, working closely with senior leaders and key stakeholders.
      • Conduct value reporting across the Enterprise in accordance with our framework.
      • Leverage data analytics to generate actionable insights for decision making and value realisation.
      • Conduct in depth analysis to identify trends, risks and opportunities to enhance the achievement of value.
      • Collaborate with data teams to develop dashboards and reporting tools that provide real time insights into value tracking.
      • Supporting the investment allocation for Portfolios and QIR/GPEC reporting.
      • Working closely with the Delivery Excellence team to establish key insights for decisions
      • Stakeholder Management- engage and build strong relationships with delivery teams, divisional portfolio teams, enablement functions and other stakeholders to ensure effective lines of communications of governance requirements.
      • Continuous Improvement- Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our processes, leveraging technology and best practices.
      • Lead training and awareness initiatives for delivery teams and key stakeholders on value requirements.

      What will you bring?

      To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

      • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in governance, value management, financial analysis or project management with a focus on value realisation.
      • Strong Finance background including experience in being able to navigate financial systems
      • An ability to manage large data sets, analyse and translate complex information into insights to support decision making for Executives
      • An ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders and work collaboratively to achieve outcomes
      • Experience in providing advice, recommendations and thought leadership, based on expertise and experience, to address needs
      • Have commercial acumen by taking a big picture view of the organisation and identify actions or strategies to drive efficiencies and create sustainable value.
      • In-depth understanding of PMO best practices
      • Understanding of Delivery frameworks and methodologies; and experience in Change Management and Learning Design
      • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
      • Tertiary qualifications in business, strategy, finance or similar would be ideal
