      The Baird GP Solutions Group collaborates with Baird’s sector and product teams to advise sponsor clients on GP-led private secondary market transactions, ranging from single and multi-asset continuation funds, tender offers and strip sales to bespoke financings including NAV-based loans and fund-level preferred equity financings.

      Baird’s Capital Advisory Group delivers customized financing solutions across the entire capital structure for institutional clients in the United States and Europe. Our equity product capabilities include equity and equity-linked solutions for private issuers, including growth equity, hybrid capital, secondary liquidity, and PIPEs. Our debt product capabilities include asset-based, 1st & 2nd lien, unitranche, mezzanine, high-yield and other structured debt instruments.. We assist clients with growth, acquisition and project financings, refinancings and recapitalizations, strategic partnerships and joint ventures, lender negotiations and sell-side lender education processes. Our deep sector expertise enables us to optimally position companies within a sector, advise clients through complex situations and deliver financing solutions that support our clients’ long-term strategic objectives. We possess strong relationships with a variety of lenders and investors, including universal banks, non-bank/credit funds, private equity, hedge funds, family offices and alternative capital providers, creating competitive processes that optimize pricing, terms, speed and certainty.

      We are looking for two 1st Year Analysts to join our Capital Advisory and GP Solutions groups in our New York office.

      As an Investment Banking Analyst on the GP Solutions team, you will:

      • Assist in the preparation of financial models, company marketing materials and client presentations.

      • Manage investors throughout the capital raise process including by helping to facilitate their diligence.

      • Perform research and various analyses in support of thematic publications and new business generation.

      • Gain exposure to live GP-led transaction deal activity.

      • Work closely with mid-level and senior management to support execution of GP-led secondary transactions for key financial sponsor relationships.

      • Hone your skills by working closely with sponsor clients, secondary investors and Baird’s sector and product teams on a variety of GP-led transactions.

      As an Analyst on the Capital Advisory team, you will:

      • Assist in the preparation of financial models, company marketing materials and client presentations

      • Manage investors throughout capital raise process including facilitating their diligence

      • Perform research and various analyses in support of thematic publications and new business generation

      • Support the deal team in performing due diligence and financial analysis on corporate clients from a variety of different industries

      • Review and develop expertise in financing documentation and coordinate investor outreach

      Additional Details:

      Compensation Information:

      • Min: $110,000 - $125,000 Max Annual Salary

      • Bonus Eligible

      *Compensation and bonus are commensurate with experience, performance and/or GIB profitability
