Exceptional Excel and Data Analytic Skills (VBA/SQL skills would be of sufficient benefit). Hand in hand with a passion for attention to detail.
Prepare investment risk packs for the purposes of the Real Assets and Liquid Markets portfolio risk meetings.
Assist in the preparation of regular monthly and quarterly reports. • Collaborate with the origination and fund management teams as well as the 1st lines of credit teams to efficiently achieve all of the above.
Ensure adherence to AI's Credit Risk Management Frameworks/ Appetite Statements/ Policies/ Standards as well as the relevant Aviva Group provisions.
Participate in projects across the wider Investment Risk team.

Investment Risk Analyst - 6 Month Fixed Term Contract
This is a great job for someone who has experience in the finance industry (preferably asset management or another financial institution), within a risk, front office role.
A bit about the job:
This is a key role is based at Aviva Investors’ Head office in the City of London. The successful candidate will be a member of the second line Credit Risk & Real Assets Investment Risk Team within the CRO function. The role provides support to the Team in developing, implementing, and managing the AI Credit & Investment Risk Framework, Policies, Risk Appetite Statements and Key Risk Indicators in conjunction with AI’s strategic and business objectives. The Investment Risk Team is responsible for the analysis of investment risk at all levels, i.e., within balanced funds and individual asset classes (including Real Assets), providing expert analysis and challenge to the fund managers. Concerns that are not acted upon by fund managers, may be escalated to the CRO or raised at relevant Boards/ Committees. Your duties and responsibilities will be the foundations of this teams’ day to day delivery.
