Investor Relations Analyst
London based with Hybrid working


As our Investor Relations Analyst you'll work closely with the Director of Investor Relations and Investor Relations Senior Manager to drive the best-in-class IR function at Hiscox Group. You will help to prepare investor materials to enhance the market’s understanding of Hiscox’s financial performance and strategy, and support the business on executing key strategic priorities. There is a lot of exposure and partnering with management and the wider finance teams.

The Investor Relations Analyst will be based in London, where the company is listed, and will report to the Director of IR, Yana O’Sullivan. The successful candidate will have experience in a finance setting and the ability to engage with key stakeholders and the wider business. An understanding of insurance would be an advantage in this role.

Key Responsibilities of the IR Analyst

The candidate will be responsible for the following areas:

• Assist with preparation of results materials for external communications on a quarterly basis
• Own verification process of results materials for external communications from an IR perspective
• Responsible for keeping analyst consensus model up to date and preparing supporting analysis
• Responsible for preparing monthly summary of market sell-side coverage
• Support with analysis of peer earnings coverage
• Compile and keep records of relevant sell-side coverage on a daily basis
• Assist in developing a repeatable qualitative/quantitative peer analysis model
• Support in responding to miscellaneous analyst queries in a timely manner
• Edit and file investor meeting notes as required
• Assist with ad hoc projects to help to execute on go-forward strategy
• Collaborate and build strong relationships with the wider group and business unit finance teams
