What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee onboarding and training for new research staff on human subjects protections and responsible research conduct
- Perform tasks related to IRB submissions, including triaging, reviewing for completeness, and conducting validations
- Monitor the IRB inbox for issues requiring attention and assist with creating and updating IRB forms, procedures, and policies
- Support IRB meetings by managing agenda creation, member communications, materials distribution, guest invitations, and minute-taking
- Facilitate compliance investigations, adhering to corporate protocols and utilizing internal systems for incident resolution
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in health/life sciences or a related field
- Minimum of one (1) year of relevant work experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to write and speak clearly and professionally
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in compliance within a healthcare organization
- Certification as a Certified IRB Professional (CIP) or Certified Healthcare Compliance (CHC)
