Job Description

- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Management and/or Information Technology, including Design (e.g., Service, User Experience (UX), Human-Computer Interaction) and three (3) years of related experience; OR
- Diploma in Information Management and/or Information Technology, including Design (e.g., Service, UX, Human-Computer Interaction) and five (5) years of related experience; OR
- Certificate or course work in Information Management and/or Information Technology, including Design (e.g., Service, UX, Human-Computer Interaction) and six (6) years related experience;
- Experience in using human-centered design methods to design and deliver services including Service Design or User Research or UX Design.
- Experience in using and adjusting facilitation, visualization, and storytelling skills to provide the right context to diverse groups and audiences.
- Experience in planning and executing research activities to inform and evaluate the design of products and services.
- Experience in designing or redesigning a large and complex service that meet the needs of users, alleviate pain points, and reduce operational costs.
- Experience in analyzing and synthesizing multiple sources of data, including observational interviews, qualitative and quantitative data, and direct user feedback for improving products and services.
- Experience in using design, research, and collaboration tools (i.e., Figma/Sketch/AdobeXD, survey software and Mural).
- Experience working within cross-functional and Agile product teams, collaborating with designers, researchers, developers, product managers, and other subject matter experts to create or improve digital products and services.
- Experience working with and building/maintaining respectful relationships with Indigenous communities.
