- Excellent working knowledge of client devices and Windows 10 and 11.

Job summary
We are recruiting for a Band 5 IT Engineer role. This role will be based at Swandean. Worthing with potential travel across Sussex. Main responsibilities would include, but not limited, to resolving software and hardware issues and working with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager to resolve known vulnerabilities, deploy new applications, patches and hot fixes to Windows 10 and 11 devices alongside providing support for IT Technicians within the team and assisting with Trust projects as required. The trust primarily uses Windows 10, with a Windows 11 upgrade underway, and Microsoft 365 so any experience with Azure, Teams and Office would be beneficial but not essential. Ideally we would be looking for someone who has previous NHS IT or local government experience.
Experience with Windows 10, Windows 11 Microsoft 365, Audio/Visual Equipment, Dell, Lenovo, Android Mobiles and Apple devices would be beneficial but full training will be provided.
You will be required to travel to various sites across the trust so the ability to travel is essential.

Main duties of the job
To provide 2nd /3rd line Technical Support facility for all Trust IT users keeping the users and other IT staff fully informed of the progress of calls that they have raised with the Help Desk. Maintaining clear, high quality records on actions undertaken in support of resolving user incidents. Updating the Help Desk application and other IT staff on these actions.
