What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide application support for the Facilities Access Control System (FACS) and Enterprise Applications
- Monitor system health indicators and assist customers and stakeholders through regular reviews and reports
- Document system incidents and identify performance trends using the DOT ServiceNow portal
- Collaborate with the Enterprise Application team to escalate issues for resolution
- Communicate business and technical information to internal and external stakeholders effectively

What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Analysis, Project Management, Cybersecurity, or Quality Systems (Lean/Six Sigma)
- Interest in transportation and information technology
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to adapt to remote work and travel as required
- Knowledge of IT service management, software development lifecycle, and Agile methodologies
- Experience providing production or IT support or in a similar customer service role

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience and working knowledge of office applications such as MS Excel, MS Word, Visio, MS Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Power BI, Tableau, and/or Adobe
- Current enrollment in a master's or professional level program (e.g., Law School) at an accredited North Carolina Historically Black College/University (HBCU) or Minority Serving Institution (MSI) with anticipated graduation between 2022-2025
- Proof of college or university attendance/graduation by attaching a transcript (official or unofficial)
