What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Proactively manage financial transactions, budgets, and contracts to optimize cost efficiencies
- Coordinate financial and metric activities within the Information Technology department and interface with accounting
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and departments
- Develop and maintain a Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Dashboard for departmental metrics
- Support IT leadership with budget preparation, invoicing, and financial reporting

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial operations, budgeting, and financial reporting, preferably in IT or technology departments
- Demonstrated experience in contract negotiation, procurement, and vendor management
- Strong proficiency in financial analysis and performance tracking
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- MBA or advanced degree in finance or technology management
- Professional certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
- Experience in building and maintaining dashboards for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Knowledge of IT procurement and vendor selection processes
- Familiarity with financial aspects of IT projects, such as capital expenditures
