      Description

      POSITION SUMMARY

      The IT Infrastructure, Security, and Governance Manager is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and security of Equipment Depot’s data center infrastructure and networking systems. The role requires an understanding of data center operations, networking protocols, and cybersecurity measures to safeguard Equipment Depot assets and maintain uninterrupted services.

      The role is also responsible for the guidance and execution of IT Governance policies, metrics and processes. This position assumes responsibility for enhancing existing IT Governance processes and procedures that support functions within IT and the Company. This position will be responsible to conduct, and/or participate with EQD Internal Controls and external companies for an IT Audit/Review on a yearly basis.

      Essential Functions Statement(s)

      • Manage Equipment Depot’s hosted data center to ensure hosted applications are available, reliable, and secure.
      • Coordinate with third parties for data center support, including incident management, upgrades, and consolidations.
      • Provide strategic direction, execution, and support for expansion into the cloud.
      • Manage Equipment Depot’s network infrastructure across all locations, including LAN and WAN.
      • Manage network operations center for network support, including incident management, hardware upgrades, and new site build-outs.
      • Ensure network scalability, performance optimization, and adherence to industry best practices and security protocols.
      • Manage the company’s overall cyber security posture and solutions that support it.
      • Identify, implement, and support infrastructure, networking, and security solutions.
      • Coordinate with sister companies and third parties for security support, including incident management and security roadmap.
      • Continually review IT security news and developments, to make needed adjustments to existing EQD policies and / or related solutions that are currently implemented.
      • Plan and manage consolidation of acquisitions to standard infrastructure footprint.
      • Lead implementation and support of IT governance policies and ensure adoption across IT.
      • Work with IT leadership and management to facilitate the ongoing enhancement of IT governance processes, procedures, templates, standards, and guidelines.
      • Lead and facilitate the development, implementation and continuous improvement for critical IT processes including change management, release management, security management, and business continuity.
      • Work with IT leadership to adjust/define IT performance metrics across the organization and develop and implement IT scorecards and/or dashboards for IT and business stakeholders, with a special focus on security topics and events.
      • Manage third party vendor relationships
      • Other duties as assigned

      Qualifications


      SKILLS & ABILITIES

      Education : Bachelor’s Degree is preferred (Four year college/university) or equivalent industry experience.

      Experience : 10+ years experience in a project orientated IT environment, including experience managing data center operations, network administration, and / or cybersecurity. Management experience preferred.

      Computer Skills: Possess Strong analytical and problem solving skills; Experience supporting or managing a primarily Windows based data center. Strong understanding of network architecture; Strong understanding of security architecture including intrusion detection and prevention systems and security tools. Understanding of basic cloud principles.

      Other Requirements : Any IT security certifications are a major advantage. Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and manage cross-functional teams effectively.
