Responsibilities

In collaboration with TMH leaders, the IT Manager of Analytics and Reporting:

• Responsible for delivering high-quality information technology (IT) solutions exceeding customer expectations and meeting defined business requirements.
• Manages and directly supervises IT/Ld Business Intel Developers, IT/Sr Business Intel Developers, IT/Business Intel Developers.
• Provides guidance, mentoring, and support to ensure high-quality deliverables and professional growth.
• Oversees the entire system development lifecycle managerially and technically; designs, develops, tests, and implements new applications and enhancements to existing applications.
• Develops and implements vision and roadmap for methodologies and best practices to optimize data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.
• Supports, promotes, and drives implementation of best practices in the areas of business intelligence and analytics

Job Highlights:

• This role will manage the team that builds and supports the Epic Cogito reporting modules for all Patient Access, Revenue Cycle and Clinical areas.

• IT/Sr Business Intel Developer
• IT/Business Intel Developer

Qualifications

Required Education:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, IT management, software engineering, computer engineering, computer science, computer information systems (IS), applied engineering, health information management (HIM), health informatics, nursing informatics, nursing, health science, education, business administration, health care, or a related field.

Required Experience:

• Eight (8) years of years of directly related professional experience (including four (4) years of related IT system development and two (2) years of managerial/supervisory experience).
• Preferred experience and qualifications: Data analytics, reporting manager, or similar experience; strong history of managing and delivering data-driven insights. Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data visualization concepts. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent leadership and team management abilities; fosters a collaborative, high performing team culture. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions. Ability to convey complex information to technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively. Detail-oriented; focuses on data accuracy and quality. Extract, transform, load (ETL) development experience utilizing Structured Query Language (SQL) Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Management Studio. Experience programming in R, Statistical Analysis System (SAS), Python, SQL, or equivalent programming languages. Ability to design and re-design schemas, data models, entity relationships, etc. Ability to guide other developers

Required Certification/License/Registry:

• Related Epic certification(s) required. Multiple certifications may be required depending on functional area and job responsibilities.
• Contingent offers may apply: Required certification(s) must be obtained within ninety (90) days from last Epic class completion. If a required certification is not obtained after three (3) examination attempts, the incumbent has a period of thirty (30) days after the last examination attempt to apply for other job opportunities within the organization. If unable to acquire another position within the organization, the incumbent’s employment with Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare, Inc. (TMH) ends.
