- Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation,
- Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure quality and on-time project delivery.
- Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues.
- Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence.
- Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization.
- Prepare detailed project plans for all phases of the project
- Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources for assigned projects.
- Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and client needs.
- Assist in establishing practices, templates, policies, and tools to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization
- While this is a remote position, travel to client locations across the United States and Canada may be required.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in IT related fields
- PMP or other project management certification required.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent certifications/experience a plus.
- A general understanding of the following is required:
- Local Area Network
- Windows Active Directory environments
- Wide Area Network
- Virtualization, and high availability solution
- VDI and application virtualization (Citrix and RDS environments)
- Wireless and Networking infrastructure
- Microsoft Office 365 products and services, Azure services and solutions, and other cloud technologies
- Messaging and communication solutions, primarily Microsoft Exchange
- The ideal candidate uses experience, knowledge, and management tools and techniques to effectively manage a project and fulfill the project objectives and requirements. Effective project managers require a balance of technical, interpersonal, and conceptual skills that help them analyze solutions and interact appropriately.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite products including Excel, Word, Outlook
- Some experience as a network engineer or technical sales engineer is a plus
