Job Description

- Create and execute test scripts, cases, and scenarios that will determine optimal system performance according to specifications.
- Conduct all types of application testing as needed, such as smoke, regression, and acceptance testing.
- Analyze formal test results in order to discover and resolve defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws.
- Produce reports and documentation for all testing efforts, results, activities, data, logging, and tracking.
- Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management.
- Test current products and identifying deficiencies.
- Create and managing defects found during testing.
- Suggest solutions to identified product problems.
- Investigate product quality in order to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the product development team to ensure consistent project execution.
- Identify quality assurance process bottleneck and suggest actions for improvement.
- Ensure QA standards, process and procedures are followed in the projects.
- Ensure that the testing of application software and systems for quality prior to approving its release.
- Collect quality data to ensure accuracy.
- Perform other responsibilities as needed or assigned.
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- 2+ years of experience in information technology, analyzing data and troubleshooting issues
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology Management, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in analyzing data and troubleshooting issues
- 3+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure DevOps
- Understanding of Software QA Tools and processes
- Understanding of major credit cards and fleet cards
- Understanding of various Point of Sales, Pinpads and Dispensers
- Ability to independently analyze extensive data, identify discrepancies and inconsistencies, and recommend a course of corrective action
- Detail oriented, as well as critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Good time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work well on a team
- Proficient in MS Office Suite to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, etc.

Summary
CHS has an exciting opportunity in the Payment Solutions group. We are looking for an experienced IT Quality Assurance Analyst to provide support to our Energy team! In this role, we are looking for a manual tester who is good at troubleshooting, problem solving, self-driven and detail oriented. An ideal candidate will have Point of Sale testing experience and good communication skills.
This position is based at our corporate headquarters located in Inver Grove Heights, MN and will work a hybrid schedule (3-days in the office).
