What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Receive and resolve issues submitted through the ticketing system, focusing on timeliness and customer service
- Manage on-site installations, repairs, maintenance, and testing tasks
- Diagnose errors or technical problems affecting campus staff and students and determine proper solutions
- Support the successful onboarding and off-boarding of new employees, including equipment and system access
- Research new technologies to improve campus processes and present suggestions to the IT Manager
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Technical degree or certification desired; Bachelor of Science in Technical or Engineering discipline preferred
- Proven IT field service experience, supporting 50 - 250+ desktop users
- Strong ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment
- Experience supporting SIS, LMS, CRM, and learning components desired
- Experience with ITIL or similar Service Management framework desired
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with educational technology systems and their applications
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with campus staff and students
- Ability to perform root cause analysis on recurring IT issues
- Experience in a higher education environment
- Knowledge of change management processes
