- Must be able to obtain/maintain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Investigation (TS/SCI) clearance
- This is an Information Assurance Workforce/Cybersecurity position coded Level II in the Management Category (IAM). Must have at the time of permanent appointment or achieve within 6 months of EOD the appropriate baseline certification.
- Prepare and review Risk Management Framework (RMF) documentation and controls to make recommendations for improvements to DoD accreditation/authorization process documentation.
- Apply Cybersecurity principles, practices, methods, and techniques.
- Analyze operations in order to provide timely, relevant situational awareness of potential threats, attacks, and network status by using one of the following: network monitoring, intrusion detection, response, or mitigation.

Salary Ranges are the following unless statutory/regulatory rates prevail:
For the Dahlgren, VA Location: $99,200-$153,354 (includes 33.26% locality)
For the Redstone Arsenal, AL Location: $90,431 to $139,798 (includes 21.48% locality)Duties

This position is part of the Department of Defense (DoD), Missile Defense Agency (MDA). The incumbent will be responsible for serving as the Information Assurance (IA)/Computer Network Defense (CND) Officer (IAO/CNDO) for operational assets of a program/project/element.

One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-02/GS-11 grade level in the Federal service as listed below:
