What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide front-line customer support for computer, phone, application, and network issues in a high call volume center
- Create work orders for each phone call handled and route requests to the appropriate support staff
- Assist faculty, staff, and students with general computer problems via various communication methods
- Perform basic troubleshooting and resolve problems at established Help Desk levels
- Document requests and responses accurately, maintaining attention to detail
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT-related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 6 months to 1 year of work experience in a high-volume Help Desk, Call Center, or customer service environment
- Experience troubleshooting problems with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office 365 Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn new software quickly
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience installing and troubleshooting local and network printers
- Familiarity with troubleshooting iOS and Android devices
- Experience using applications in a Citrix environment
- Working knowledge of basic clinical application support and LAN/WAN networking
- Experience troubleshooting problems with MacOS
