Job Description
- Req#: 2050
- Provide on-site technical support to end users and systems to maintain business operations and minimize downtime.
- Closely monitor Manufacturing Execution System (MES) processes and data for availability and accuracy.
- Execute and implement all personal computer software and hardware implementation plans. Keep current on new technologies and staff productivity tools. Provide testing and implementation of all personal computer components.
- Communicate and escalate issues and needs with Senior IT Specialists.
- Responsible for maintaining incidents and change requests in ServiceNow.
- Administrative experience in any of the following areas: VMWare, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, SCCM, Azure and Office 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, etc).
- Assist in installation, configuration and management of all Local and Wide Area Network systems, such as Cisco switches and routers along with the full Meraki stack (Security appliance, Switches, Wireless, cameras).
- High school diploma or GED; an Associate’s Degree in IT preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in supporting end-users and systems on Plant Floor. Automotive Industry experience highly preferred
- Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) highly preferred
- Strong SQL Skills – Must be able to construct and execute Read, Insert and Update statements for mission-critical data
- Experience with the following:
- Supporting Barcode Printers and Scanners on Plant Floor. Zebra Hardward Preferred.
- Supporting Networking Equipment & Cabling on Plant Floor
- configuring, Deploying and Supporting PCs and Displays on Plant Floor
- MS Window OS and MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Managing Windows Servers: monitoring, patching, rebooting
- Active Directory Account management
- Working with Part numbers and Bills of Materials (BOM)
