      The Role: IT Support Intern

      As an IT Support Intern, you will be part of the Technology Operations team and you will get heavily involved in level-one technical support by addressing walk-ups for our customers. Your other activities will include reading, reviewing, and improving where relevant the current support process documents in our knowledge base (i.e. Atlassian) and using it to resolve first-line support cases.

      How you can add value to the team?

      • By supporting in fixing issues on Windows and MacOSX desktops.

      • By deploying Enterprise laptops using Intune autopilot and Jamf.

      • Capable of providing appropriate IT solutions within budget constraints.

      • Proficient in troubleshooting and enhancing technical support quality.

      • Familiar with IT service-management ticketing systems (FreshService).

      • Able to troubleshoot Zoom Rooms, Desktop, and Windows server (ActiveDirectory).

      • Collaborative team player with experience working alongside Systems Administration and Networking teams.

      What do we expect from you?

      • Currently studying a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field (to be considered for the internship, you need to be enrolled in a university/other educational institution).

      • You are available for an internship for 6-12 months.

      • You are available at least 4 days a week.

      • Some experience with installation of Enterprise Desktops (Windows 10, Mac OSX) and related software packages (i.e. Antivirus, Adobe, Office 365).

      • Basic knowledge on installing apps on the iOS phone (i.e. e-mail clients, business apps).

      • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite is a plus.

      • Some experience with a scripting language (i.e. Python) is a plus.
