- Serve as frontline support for all IT helpdesk requests; escalate as needed.
- Install, diagnose, repair, and maintain agency hardware/software, including AV and media systems.
- Manage and document helpdesk tickets using tracking software.
- Assist in Office 365 and Active Directory/Azure administration under supervision.
- Operate and support AV equipment including video cameras, audio mixers, graphics generators, and editing tools.
- Capture, edit, and manage digital media using asset management software.
Conduct regular AV software and firmware updates.
Support internal and external AV events, including training sessions, webinars, and conferences.
Other duties as assigned.

- Required: Associate degree in MIS, Computer Science, or a related field and 2 years of IT Helpdesk experience/AV support.
- Valid driver's license/car insurance as this position requires 30-50% of travel.
- Strong understanding of AV technologies and IT systems (hardware, networking, and support tools).
Proficiency with Microsoft Windows/Mac environments, Office 365, Active Directory, TCP/IP, Zoom, Teams, and SharePoint.
Familiarity with digital media production software (graphics, encoding, editing).
Ability to multitask across various systems and user needs while delivering excellent customer service.
Strong communication skills—able to explain technical issues to both tech and non-tech users.
Organized, self-motivated, and able to handle confidential information professionally.
- Ensuring that AV hardware and software is prepared to meet the needs of the organization
- Offering plans and advice for live audio and video events, including broadcasts, conferences, webinars, training events, etc.
- Operating the master controls of AV systems during events as needed
- Conduct regular updates and upgrades to software and firmware on AV-designated equipment

You’ll be a key player in keeping our hybrid work environment running smoothly—whether it's managing a Zoom meeting, troubleshooting a laptop, or setting up video for a training session.
