What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze business problems in cooperation with production and support departments to determine training needs
- Design custom courses to meet the technology needs of internal clients
- Plan and implement custom and off-the-shelf software for user education
- Conduct training classes for various personnel, including home office, county offices, and remote users
- Write user documentation and job aids for self-directed application assistance
- Administer the company LMS, including uploading/updating courseware and providing tier 2 LMS support
- Maintain a high level of technical expertise in software applications

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience providing training in an information technology environment, or 7 years equivalent experience
- Extensive knowledge of the latest versions of Windows OS and Microsoft Office products
- Experience conducting classroom training
- Excellent technical and business writing skills
- Ability to independently learn application software quickly
- Occasional and overnight travel required
- Valid driver's license and driving record that complies with company guidelines
- Ability to perform the duties of a Training Specialist I

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience providing support for an LMS and using Content Authoring software
- Actively pursuing or commitment to begin Training Certification
