Job Summary

This is an internship position at CITGO Petroleum Corporation Headquarters, Houston, TX.

As an Information Technology Workstations Support Intern, you will have the opportunity to expand your IT knowledge and experience. Initial responsibilities include assisting with technical projects and services provided by the Workstations Support Team. During this time, you will work on personal computer hardware delivery and setups, computer software support, troubleshooting computer related problems, and assist senior team members on various department and corporate wide projects. You will also become familiar with IT policies, processes, and procedures.

All candidates typically have a demonstrated interest in technology and business, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Minimum Qualifications

• Freshmen or sophomore who is pursuing a degree in an Information Technology related degree program. (Computer Science, Management Information Systems or other technical degree).
• 3.0+ GPA preferred.
• Working knowledge of personal computer software/hardware and network technology.
• Outgoing, team oriented, and goal driven.
• Communicate and interact effectively with all levels in the Corporation.

Length of Assignment:

• Up to 20-40 hours a week during in session school periods.
• Up to 40 hours a week during non-school periods.
