What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead and collaborate with Software Developers, Operations Engineers, and Quality Assurance personnel to develop secure software
- Mentor junior developers on best practices in user-centered design and DevSecOps
- Develop single-page web applications that support healthcare services
- Create comprehensive documentation for internal and external stakeholders
- Conduct unit testing and integration testing to ensure software quality

What is Required (Qualifications):
- BA or BS degree
- Minimum of 10 years of programming experience in Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, and related technologies
- Proficiency in back-end technologies and database management (Oracle, SQL)
- Experience in developing and testing APIs and working in a DevOps environment
- Familiarity with AWS products and services

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Veterans Administration technologies
- Knowledge of Liferay DXP and modern technology stacks such as MERN or MEAN
- Current VA GFE and PIV credentials
- Experience with software architecture
- Familiarity with cyber security tools
